Promposals excite students

Prom is April 21, and about two weeks away. The Upperclassmen at Catholic are very excited.

Over the past weeks, the Catholic boys have been coming up with creative ideas to ask their dates to prom.

“I had mud on the side of my car and wrote prom on the side of my car,” Sam Sampitro said.

Most girls know which boy is going to ask them to prom, but some girls don’t even expect them to ask her. For example, junior Eliza Arnwine knew she was going to prom with Sampeitro.

“Yeah, but I didn’t know how he was gonna ask me,” Arnwine said.

On the other hand, junior Libby Penn was surprised when junior Towns Hughes asked her.

“I got a bag of Chick-Fil-A and wrote on the bag you’re the chick I wanna take to prom,” Hughes said.

Now that the promposals are over, many people are looking forward to the fun of prom night.

“We are going to dinner with some people at Cherokee I think,” Libby Penn said.
