Interact Club’s Honor Air Help

Keileen Cullen, Staff Writer

The Interact club is getting ready for their debut this Saturday, September 15 at 7:30 a.m. inside of the Parkwest Church for the Honor Air event; there, students will gather to serve breakfast to Air Force Veterans.

The Interact club gives back to the community through different service projects. This is not the first time the club has helped with this local service; it has been a tradition within the KCHS interact club for many years past.

This year senior co-presidents Haley Cionfolo and Olivia Ricche are excited to attend.

Cionfolo’s favorite part of volunteering with KCHS at the event is “the warm, happy feeling you get from serving [the veterans].”

Lindsey Webb, the social media manager for the Interact Club, plans on rallying up a good amount of people by word of mouth, as well as posts on Instagram.
If students are in need of service hours or interested in serving the community, email Haley Cionfolo or Olivia Ricche and they will provide all necessary information.
